Digital literacy & information fluency 

Digital literacy  is the ability to use information and communication technologies to find, evaluate, create, and communicate information, requiring both cognitive and technical skills.


information fluency - is the process that has been established that there are a lot of websites and pages available on the Internet,everyday more and more are added. This is often referred to as the InfoWhelm; the bombardment of information, much of which is irrelevant and useless. As a result of this rapidly increasing volume of information, facts become so far fetched and we need to searched hard to find the right information and the ones that are credible. 


the process of this is ;


Ask- the right questions and good questions in order to get good answers,so be search to type in the correct word into search box 


Acquire- this step involves determining where the information is;skimming, scanning and scouring the resources; filtering through the results and taking smart no Sometimes it means going back to the first step: Ask, in order to refine the results and information.


Analyse-This step involves taking your information and analyzing and breaking t down to summerise what you have read .


Apply-The user will now be able to apply that knowledge to the real-world problem they are faced with.


Assess This when is when you  will look at the result and process you followed. It involves asking questions about the process used, the steps followed and the information that was obtained; reflecting on what went well and what could have been done better. When the student gets their assignment back with a mark, they then can assess where they could have improved their mark. Did they not spend enough time on the Analysis stage, or acquire stage?
